AZ: Day 1

Our first day in AZ was a good one. We started off by going to lunch at Sonic. Oh sweet, sweet Sonic how I've missed you. The funny thing is it's not the food but the drinks that get my blood pumping. I love the small ice in the drinks! I'm an ice chewer, there I've said it. I come from a long line of ice chewers, please don't tell my dentist:) If we ever move back to AZ I will buy my ice from them, they sell it by the bag. I don't know what it is but I just love the way the ice swishes around in the Styrofoam cup. And it has to be Dr. Pepper, they have a really good peach iced tea, but my fave hands down is Dr. Pepper. I have even contemplated buying Styrofoam cups from Costco just to get the full effect, but the guilt of what they do to the environment has held me back. So anyways there's a little bit of weird information about me:)

Then after that we headed on over to The Wildlife World Zoo, it's such a great zoo, not too big and not too small. They had done a lot of work to it since we left, they really did a great job.

Ainsley was happy the entire time, until she got splashed.

Here's just a glimse of what the zoo looked like throughout.

These monkeys were pretty funny, they had perfect little mohawks.

They remind me of someone I know(pic taken in July 2009)

Ash reached up and pet the leopard a couple times.

Ash has a monkey on his back:)

Ended the day with a visit from Nana, it was a really good day.

Please excuse my blog as I am continuing to tweak it, thanks for all the compliments and thanks Alyssa for doing the columns I really appreciate it.
