Mommy and Me

Tatum had a "Mommy and Me" day at school, just like Prestin did last year. We made gingerbread houses, it had to be postponed until Jan.16th due to the snow before Christmas break. It was a fun day and Tatum was excited to have mommy there to see her classroom and her friends.Tatum turns six on February 10th, we're going to have a girls slumber party that weekend. And I'll take plenty of pics.

All right people we're back in business, I've been having some issues with my computer not letting me post pictures and seriously who wants to read a post without any pics. So it looks like my computer is behaving(We had words). So update on baby, the ultrasound went really well. I saw a heartbeat with 167 beats per minute, so really strong heart. And it looks like I am due July 26th, as of today I am 12 weeks and 3 days. So were moving right along, although the morning sickness isn't as bad as the others the exhaustion has been kicking my butt as well as this gray weather. Oh what I'd give for a sunny AZ day right about now. We had a really nice Christmas this year, we had my brother Tyler visit so it was nice to have some family. It snowed a lot even on Christmas day, which made the day that much more special. Although, I just like to look at the snow not actually be out in it. the kids got three days off for snow days, so they really liked that. We got about a foot and half to two feet of snow. Ash had to go out and buy snow chains this year, definitely a different way of life up here.
Christmas was pretty laid back, we were stuck inside a lot because it was really scary to drive anywhere but it was definitely a time to relax and enjoy each other. Here's some pics of Christmas day.

We got Tatum a violin for a great deal, Ash found someone on Craig's list that had sold his business in California and was selling everything he had left for really cheap. We were probably more excited to give it to her than she was to get it!

We had a big breakfast, which is tradition here.We made Christmas cookies.
Prestin has gotten pretty good at the Wii that Aunt Erin and Uncle Stephen sent them. Here's some action shots! The day after Christmas this adorable little door mysteriously appeared in our entry way, the kids were very curious about it and have concluded that a little mouse family has moved in. The kids have tried to open the door with the little key, but had no luck. Then they decided to wait and see if they would come out, but we decided that they must be too scared of our cat and dog. So we'll have to see if any more surprises happen over the next couple weeks, I'll keep you posted on what we find out. The kids were also in a Christmas pageant, but because of the weather it was pushed back a week. It turned out really cute. I made six cow heads and six sheep heads, and Pastor's wife made the donkey heads. They really turned out adorable and made the play so much cuter! It was a lot of work, but well worth it. Prestin was in the choir, but the pics didn't turn out very well because the lighting wasn't very good in the sanctuary. But they're all still cute.(Have I said the word cute enough or what)
Tatum looks like a deer in headlights.
This picture didn't turn out very well, but the face that Madi is making is priceless so I had to share it.Well I'm pretty much blogged out for the moment, but I have more things to share so I'll have to post all that later. Thanks to everyone who sent gifts, cards and well wishes our way. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
