Bumbo

Sorry I've been such a bad blogger it's been a crazy week. I had my jewelry party last Friday and it went really well, but it was a lot of work. But it paid off with $400.00 in sales, five parties, and a catalog show, so business is booming! Ainsley got a gift certificate for Baby's R Us (thank you Aunt Yvonne) so we went and got her this little chair called a Bumbo chair. It's the cutest thing! She found her feet this week and so she sits in the chair and tries so hard to get them. She's an angel, I can't wait for you all to meet her, you're going to love her. She's so smiley.

Picture Day

Well today was picture day for Prestin, we were really excited about this cute little milestone in his life. Definitely more exciting for us than Prestin. So last night we went through the picture packages and chose the one we wanted very carefully, went through his closet to pick the perfect outfit for this special event, and he even got a new hair cut. This morning I got him up bright and early so that he would look his best, made sure he brushed his teeth, and told him to get a jacket because it was chilly outside. We were all set, I took him to school, told him I loved him, and to smile for the camera. I couldn't wait until he got home to tell me all about it. When he came home I eagerly asked him how the pictures went, if he smiled and so on. He said he did and then informed me that it was cold walking to the gym to get his picture taken so he wore his jacket. What!, I said. But you took it off for the picture right? Nope, he said, I zipped it all the way up and the camera lady said it looked nice. All my excitement immediately turned to disappointment, but then I just had to laugh. Hopefully there will be retakes, but if not all of you will just know that it must have been a cold day here in Washington. Then a little later in the day Tatum asked if she could color, a few minutes later I heard arguing and screaming(of course coming from Avery). I went to see what was going on and found both of them covered in purple marker, thank goodness it was washable. They had been dueling it out, each taking a swipe at the other, I have no idea what the fight was about but it was serious. As I was telling this story to Ash we both started laughing at how that must have looked with them only a foot a way taking jabs at each other with purple marker. We're definitely making some funny memories here.
