Sweet Davis

Hello Everyone!  Do you remember a few months ago our Dream Big Fundraiser?  And how God did an AMAZING, AWE INSPIRING work through so many people?  His body of believers became His hands and feet and blessed us beyond what we could have imagined, I'm getting teary eyed just remembering it all.  You all loved on our family and little Sergey (Sarge), we could feel it through all the comments, through every donation and through the string of blogs and facebook pages pleading our case to others and asking for help.  We can never thank you all enough:)  I'm pretty sure you all know my heart is for the orphans, I want them all to have a family, all 147 million of them.  I know I cannot save them all, but I can help, even if it's only one at a time....we all can:)

This is sweet Davis.
And he has a family working hard to get him.  He is from the same country and region that Sergey is from and desperately needs to be home with his family that loves him so much.
Amy is having an amazing fundraiser on her blog to help pay the ransom for her son.  Here are just some of the wonderful prizes you can win.

Pretty awesome huh?  All it takes is a $10.00 donation to get your name put in the hat.  And let me tell you from experience that those $10.00 donations add up really quick!  That was 90% of our donations during our fundraiser and look at how God used what might seem to some to be a small amount of money to grow into thousands of dollars!  Believe me every little bit helps:)  Let's help Amy and her family bring Davis home, don't you want to be apart of something amazing?  $10.00 is all it takes.  Let's be a blessing to Amy and Davis today and be blessed in return by knowing you are helping save a life!

There are so many children just like Davis and Sergey who have been waiting a long time for a family.  These children are real people not just  pictures on the computer and it is a race to pay the ransom for these children.  Children in these orphanages are dying daily.  Poor little Warner died a few days ago, he had a family working hard to adopt him, who already loved him and were dreaming of him as part of their family.

Let's not waste any time!  Go visit Amy's blog and give and then post their story on Facebook and your blog to spread the word!  Let's be His hands and feet today:)

This is how we know what love is:  Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.  And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.  If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?  Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.  1 John 3: 16-18

  4. Thank you for sharing this. may I ask...who was the family after Warner? Do they have a blog? I only ask because he was our angel tree and new years and vday child we helped raise money for. I prayed so hard for a family to come forward. I had no clue because it was never posted on RR that someone was trying to get to him. It broke my heart when I got the email that he had died. There is no time to say later I will adopt. I wish people who get that!

    be blessed
