It's Finished!
So Ash finished it yesterday, the kids were so excited. They played on it all day, it was awesome! And then crashed hard at bedtime, I'm loving my new babysitter. Ash decided he would put it together so the kids could play on it and then level the yard at a later time. It's not a huge decline in the yard, but you can definitely tell it's not level. Also, my picture taking abilities aren't the greatest, so it makes it look a little more slanted than it is, so this does not reflect Ash's abilities at all, he put it together perfectly level. Anyways the kids are safe and that's all I care about. I was so impressed with Ash while he was working on this playset. For one thing he is such a handy man, I am always surprised when he does a project around the house. Not that I don't think he can do it, it's just whatever he sets his mind to he does above and beyond what you'd expect. Things he's never done before turn out amazing! He's a great problem solver and a bit of a perfectionist, both qualities I love about him. The other thing that just blew me away was his patience, not only with putting it together(it was very time consuming, along with him having a very busy work schedule) but also with the kids. They weren't being bad, they were just being kids, asking him tons of questions, crawling all over him when he's trying to put it together, and wanting to help. It was driving me crazy just to watch all this, but he handled it so well, always smiling and playing with the kids. I know that I would not have handled it as graciously, definitely an area I need to work on. So anyways I am so proud of him and just thankful for this new blessing for our family. I know we are going to make a ton of memories on this new playset! And Ash thanks for all your hard work it means a lot to us.
