So I went down stairs the other night and turned on the kitchen light to find this...
It is not a fake spider this is the real thing. I contemplated for a while on what to do, because it was near the ceiling, I didn't want it falling on me(blblbabla). That by the way is the sound I just made as chills just went down my spine as I was reminded of what it felt like, I have no idea how to spell it. So anyways I decided to wake Ash up a little after midnight, because I was just to afraid to kill it myself. I told him there was a tarantula downstairs and he needed to kill it for me. By the way I know it's not a tarantula, but that's what it felt like. On a side note I like to say the word tarantula, it's fun you should try it. So anyways back to the story Ash came down in a sleepy stuper and I was hoping that I was right about how big the spider was so that he would'nt be upset that I woke him up. And I was pleasantly surprised when a shocked look came across his face when he saw it. He stood there for a minute or two, and then got the vacuum cleaner hose and sucked it right up. It was so big he felt a thump when it went inside the vacuum cleaner. We have one of those Dyson vacuums with a clear container so you can see everything inside. It was a huge, black ball with legs, but it was dead and we could sleep sound knowing that. Except we both still had the chills and dreamt about spiders all night long. By the way next time any of you talk to Ash, ask him about the cockroach story. It's funnier when he tells it! By the way the amazing pics of the tulip fields and Prestin flying the kite were shot by Ash. He has an awesome way of capturing special moments! It makes the creative process of scrapbooking so much easier.

Lots of pics!
So some exciting news here at the Farley's! No, I'm not pregnant, I know that's what you were all thinking wasn't it? For a year now we have had a couch that was way to small for our family to sit on. Those of you who have visited with us know what I'm talking about, a few people always had to sit on the floor because there was no room. Well I'm happy to say that we have solved that problem. We got it last week, it had been on order for a couple of weeks and we were squealing with anticipation. And I was really excited because we were finally able to repaint the walls. I think that they now have at least nine coats of paint, if any of you remember our painting dilemmas in the beginning this color is just right.

So we were able to move the other couch into the office, which also has a pull out inside so now we have an office/guest bedroom. So you all are welcome to come and stay with us. I know it seems silly to others to make such a fuss, but this is big stuff here. We also had a visit from my grandpa and aunt this past weekend. We met them at Tulip Town and had a great time on the farm and flying kites. The kids really enjoyed it. Also, I will post these pictures on my Walgreens site so that you guys can print them out. If anyone else would like that info. email me or give me a call and I will give you my password. This is Tatum with the purple tulips, it's her favorite color.
After the tulips we went to a salmon barbeque at the Hillcrest Park, it was like being in the woods, absolutely beautiful. Thanks again Yvonne for everything! So the other happenings are Madi turned two on March 29th. We had a family party at home which was very nice. I got this cute cake tin that is in the shape of a giant cupcake and made a happy birthday banner to decorate. It all turned out really cute. Thank you to everyone who sent cards and gifts!Prestin had a fieldtrip to the Everett Children's Museum, which Ash was able to go with his class. It turned out to be a really fun day for them all. Ash was in charge of Prestin and his friend Aiden. This is them on the bus.Prestin digging for dinosaur fossils.Doing the weather.Milking a cow.And tons of other things.
We had a nice Easter, the kids had a little egg hunt the Thursday before at our church. And made cupcakes and ate tons of candy.
This is another attempt at a family pic on Easter, we thought it was perfect with Zippie's butt front and center.
So anyways it turned out to be a nice weekend. Here are some fun pics of Madi feeding Ainsley. Some for you and some for me.Ainsley being silly. This is Madi's new thing, she loves to make people laugh. So at dinner she'll do these completely hysterical faces and crack everyone up. She's definitely the clown in this family. So anyways that was a lot of pics, hopefully you enjoyed them all. If there are any pics that you've seen in the past and would like me to post them on the Walgreens website just email me. Just a reminder Ainsley's appt. at the GI specialist is on Thursday, the 24th at 1:00. Keep her in your prayers and I'll post what we find out.
